Principal's Welcome
Welcome to Darling Downs Adventist College.
We are a Kindergarten to Year 12 co-educational Christian school. Our beautiful 35 acre campus is situated in the growth suburb of Glenvale on the western side of Toowoomba.
As an Adventist Christian school, our purpose is to reveal Jesus in a thriving Christ centred learning environment where your child can flourish. Students engage in daily devotions, meaningful Christian religion classes, weekly chapels, and focus weeks of praise and worship, along with having opportunity to engage in deeper Bible studies in areas of interest.
Right from our Tiny Seeds Kindergarten where nurturing Educators support students in a play-based environment to our senior program where our team of quality teachers mentor and engage students in learning based on individual pathways, we work together with parents to help our students grow in academic knowledge, skill, confidence, friendships and faith.
Throughout their schooling, students also have opportunities to engage in practical learning programs including Food and Fashion, Music, Art, Woodworking, and physical fitness. Our Kitchen Garden and Agricultural Science programs take learning outside the classroom and into our multi-award winning garden areas.
At Darling Downs Adventist College, we believe supporting character development is some of our most important work. Because of this, students at all year levels are provided with opportunities to help and serve others, adding value to their communities.
