Our Team

Mrs Heidi Mazz - Principal

I have a passion for sharing Jesus and helping young people see their immense worth; I am so grateful that I get to do this every day with an amazing team here at DDAC.

In rare moments of free time, I can be found being creative at my sewing machines or sipping tea while I quietly marvel at my mountain view. I also love spontaneous adventures and creating memories with my awesome kids.

My favourite verse at the moment is Proverbs 3:5-6 " Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take."

How reassuring to know that our guide in life is none other than the Master of the Universe and we can trust in Him!

Mrs Bronwyn Rosendahl - Primary Coordinator

God placed a love for teaching on my heart as a 5-year-old, and ever since, there isn’t anything else I’d rather do! My passion for Adventist education has seen me engage with staff, students and their families for over 20 years, sharing Jesus and encouraging students to flourish in all aspects of their life.

I love to travel and there is a giant world map on my wall at home with pins in the locations of the 60 countries I have visited. On weekends you’ll find my family and I camping by the dam, skiing behind my husband’s home-crafted boat; or playing at home in our garden with Banjo, one of our beloved DDAC therapy dogs. I feel incredibly blessed to work in such a beautiful place with amazing people.

My prayer is that; ‘Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance’ - Jude 1:2.

Mrs Sue Redsell - Secondary Coordinator

Education has the power to create joy, curiosity and wonder and since 1991, I have had the privilege to see this power at work within my students. My career has allowed me to travel from as far north as Mackay, south to Murwillumbah and now west to the beautiful city of Toowoomba. Along the way, my two children have multiplied to include three grandchildren.

A farm girl at heart often means in the late afternoon you will find my husband and I spending time in the yards feeding our cattle and enjoying the afternoon sunsets looking out over our paddock. My guiding light in this journey of life is our wonderful, merciful saviour, Jesus Christ. Being His hands and feet, continuing a work that started over 2000 years ago, is certainly a privilege and honour.

Governance

Our local, national and global network ensures that every student has access to the experience and care of a nurturing, caring team of qualified staff.
