Year 6 Market Day Stalls
Nov 18th 2020
This semester the Year 6 class have been learning about the relationships between businesses and consumers in their Economics and Business lessons. On Tuesday, November 17, the Year 6 class held their Business Market Stalls at lunchtime to sell a variety of goods and services to students. Students have been planning their stalls together in small groups, including conducting market research, creating advertising and sourcing/making goods to sell. The experience has helped them to understand business concepts including loans, opportunity cost and competition in the marketplace. Students earned $221.45 profit on the day, which will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House charity, as chosen by the class.
Market Stalls were busy ... and profitable!
