“Level Up” was the theme for this year’s Week of Worship (WOW) and students were exposed to some high energy retro Pac-Man experiences - starting with a Pac-Man maze to get to their seats with all the sound effects to match!For the first time, WOW was based at the Glenvale Seventh-day Adventist Main auditorium so that there was room for the maze, the ‘gamer’s lounge’ (where the icebreaker winners got to sit to enjoy the program) and the drama.

The WOW guest speaker was Gabrielle Shaw - a 2^nd year theology student from Avondale College of Higher Education. She spoke twice each day (to secondary and then primary students) about ways we can ‘level up’ as followers of Christ - how we can take our relationship with Jesus ‘to the next level’. Students ably supported WOW as members of the worship band and drama team. The week ended with a celebration service on Saturday morning.

Pr Jeanine Sandy and Pr Jacob, our hard-working chaplains, were the creators and hosts of our daily WOW meetings and we thank them very much for all the effort they put into making this year’s WOW both memorable and an opportunity for spiritual growth.
