We did it again!

Toowoomba's Carnival of Flowers turned 70 this year and an important part of the festival week is The Chronicle Garden Competition. Despite the prolonged drought conditions, Darling Downs Christian School has kept up its tradition of entering the competition in the 'City Student Garden' category. This year, they were up against 17 schools and are proud to report they received 'First Place'. This is an excellent achievement, given the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers is recognised as a premier national event attracting visitors and media from across Australia as well as from around the world. Sincere thanks must go to teacher, Lyndsay Hiscox, for his passion in teaching students life skills in horticulture. Congratulations to all involved.
