On Monday, November 4, the Year 1/2 class hosted the Preps for an afternoon tea as part of their Maths curriculum. Students were required to create a time schedule, calculate how much of each ingredient was needed and follow a recipe to create a fruit cup. The task was also integrated with Digital Technology as students created invites for their Prep buddies using basic Word skills. Both the Year 1/2 and Preps had a lovely time and the Year 1/2s particularly enjoyed putting the skills they have been learning in Maths this term into action.
