Huge congratulations to one of our Year 12 student, Elizabeth Stanfield, who wowed two audiences on the weekend with her outstanding performance in the Empire Youth Arts production – The [REDACTED] New Clothes & Other Stories for the Post-Apocalypse. Teachers were thrilled to attend a performance where Lizzy, and her 11 fellow youth creatives from across the Toowoomba region, both entertained and challenged us about topics such as truth and the power of the story. The production was the culmination of five months of scriptwriting, staging and rehearsing together. It has been an exhilarating and creative experience for Lizzy and we wish her all the best with her future plans in theatre.
